We are pleased to introduce you to our exclusive Okki Solutions Limited Competence Campus, offering you a unique opportunity to improve your Language and professional skills with a team of advanced trainers and experts.
1. What does the platform offer?
Depending on your package the platform offers the following content:
a. General Learning Materials for Level A1-C2: Everyone starts at A1. With ongoing subscription, you can unlock the next levels by actively learning, completing the necessary tasks for each Level and spending the necessary time with the content for each level. The content is overseen and supervised by the team of trainers to ensure that you learn according to our methods. Users are expected to engage with our content personally and authentically to ensure the integrity of the learning experience. The content you unlocked will remain available to you until your subscription ends.
b. Audio and Video Content: We emphasize on Learning with all senses and offer material for reading, writing, listening, and speaking the language.
c. Open Classroom Sessions: Open live sessions with native-level teachers and generalized lectures.
d. Sector-Specific Language Content: The sector-specific language content is designed to start at Level B1. You will get access to the language content for your profession and basic materials about self-, time- and project management.
e. Okki Channel: This channel is moderated by native-level Speakers who share valuable additional content and additional exercises to practice the language intensively.
f. CV and Job Application Training Material: To prepare for your successful career we support your journey with relevant information and insights into application and interview settings.
g. Kids and Family Content: For those who want to include their family in their journey, we offer additional easy and fun content designed for the whole family.
h. Interactive Social Student & Alumni Telegram Group: Get in contact and interact with other learners, form lasting connections and network with the Okki Solutions Team.
i. Group Job Interview Training & Simulations: We offer monthly sessions for the preparation of job interviews and invite industry experts from diverse sectors for the best preparation for your career advancement.
2. Principles of our learning material
Extensive content: Our material includes a wide range of content to appeal to all the senses. There is content for all language levels so that intensive contact with the language takes place right from the start and you learn to comfortably express yourself in your target language.
Expansive learning with versatile experts: Our native-level speakers include teachers, coaches, and experts from various disciplines, depending on the availability and needs of the group. This ensures targeted support for language and skill development. Each group shall comprise a specified number of participants, with a designated group leader and alternating guests.
Student-led and Bite-sized: Our learning philosophy emphasizes the active participation of learners. Content is short and to the point to enable efficient learning. We develop our content based on the real needs of the learners.
Learning & Expert tips: We regularly share tips and creative ideas to optimize your learning process and incorporate it into your everyday life in a positive way.
Please note that the language content is neither tailored to a specific sector nor giving any kind of medical, legal, or business advice. We incorporate real-life scenarios in our content and fill it with well researched content. Despite our thorough content creation, we do not guarantee that everything is scientifically correct in the language courses. However, we will be offering sector-specific training to students who will have attained the B1 Language level. The training can be booked additionally and separately, depending on professional qualifications and goals.
3. Data protection and alternative option
We offer full anonymity for participants onboarded into the Competence Campus where the choice of their usernames is voluntary. Additionally, anyone registering to participate in the Telegram group must choose in their settings section whether to display their personal information, such as name, pictures, status, and telephone number. This applies to intermediate and premium packages.
We expect participants to behave responsibly. If we receive complaints about the misuse of this visibility, the persons concerned who violate the rules of considerate communication will be permanently excluded from all Okki Solutions services.
Data security protocols apply to all eternal services and software necessary for the operation of our Competence Campus and subscription processing. This includes but is not limited to Windows/Microsoft, Telegram, Adobe, Google, Apple, WebCampus, Datev, WhatsApp, Asana, Slack, and Zoom. We also use other comparable services to ensure seamless and secure processing.
Consent & Kindness are paramount. We are all human beings, and as such, we neither give guarantees nor accept liability for the actions of individual participants. We learn together as a team . No guarantee is given for completeness or accuracy. However, we guarantee that Okki Solutions Ltd. does its best and continuously improves quality. We encourage an open error culture so that learning can be a positive experience for all. Each participant is responsible for their learning success and actions.
4. Cost
Okki Solutions Competence Campus offers monthly subscription plans for our B2C clients as outlined in your contract. We also provide special pricing conditions for groups and B2B clients and additional services. For more information on these special rates, please contact us at hello@okkisolutions.com
Renewal of the subscription is accepted if the fee is paid on the last day before the termination of the previous month's payment date.
To onboard you to the Okki Solutions Competence Campus, we require full payment of the subscription fees. If you are a direct client of Okki Solutions Limited, we will provide you with an invoice detailing the subscription fees. If you book through one of our partners, please contact the respective provider for payment arrangements. Individualized access to the platform, channel, or group will be granted only upon confirmation of payment.
The subscription period shall begin from the day you receive your login data.
The Client agrees that Okki Solutions Limited has the right to cease or suspend any work or rendering of Services to the Client under this Letter or any other Engagement entered with the Client in the event the Client is in delay or arrears of payment of any Fees due to Okki Solutions Limited and resulting from any engagement with the Client.
Refunds shall not be provided unless in cases of error or service failure as determined by Okki Solutions.
5. Excluded services
Our services are meant to be used as supplementary and additional materials for learning, we do not provide any kind of certification or accredited examination. We are not in any way affiliated with language accreditation or certification institutions or organizations.
Any services not included as per Clauses 1 and 4 are excluded from this Agreement.
6. Billing
We will bill on a monthly basis for subscription fees due. Payment is due on the last day before the termination of the previous month's payment date. The counting begins from the day you receive your login details after your registration. Failure to make timely payments may result in account suspension or our withdrawal as your service provider.
Alternatively, you can choose to pay for a consecutive period of three (3) months or more, depending on your financial capacity.
7. Confidential Information
The Client and Okki Solutions Limited undertake necessary steps to keep in confidence each other’s Confidential Information which have become known to the receiving Party in relation to this Engagement and shall not use such Confidential Information other than for the reason of this Engagement or disclose Confidential Information to any other (third) party. The confidential Information shall mean any verbal and/or written information and/or materials which do not form part of the public domain, and which have been and/or will be exchanged or to which the receiving Party has had or will have access to in the course of the term of this Letter and/or the execution of this Engagement.
The confidentiality obligation extends beyond the term of this Agreement and remains in effect even after the termination of this Agreement.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Welcome to Okki Solutions Limited Competence Campus (the 'Campus').
By accessing or using the Campus, you agree to comply with the terms of our services and the following terms and conditions. These terms affect your legal rights and obligations and form a binding agreement between you and Us. The terms apply to the entire platform and any communication between you and Okki Solutions Limited personnel. Please read the terms of agreement keenly and carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, you are advised not to use our services.
8. Definitions
Company: "Company," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Okki Solutions Limited, responsible for your information under this agreement.
Users: Refers to the company, organization, or individual who signs up to use our services.
Device: Any internet-connected device such as a phone, tablet, or computer used to access our services.
IP Address: A number assigned to each device connected to the Internet, often used to identify the device's location. Every device connected to the Internet is assigned a number known as an Internet Protocol (IP) address. These numbers are usually assigned in geographic blocks. An IP address can often be used to identify the location from which a device is connecting to the internet.
Personnel: Individuals employed by or under contract with Okki Solutions Limited to perform services.
Personal Data: Any information that directly, indirectly, or in connection with other information -including a personal identification number – allows for the identification or identifiability of a natural person.
Service: The online learning services provided by Okki Solutions Limited as described on our platform.
9. Use of Services
By using our services, you agree NOT to:
- License, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, disclose, or otherwise commercially exploit the service;
- Modify, make derivative works of, disassemble, decrypt, reverse compile, or reverse engineer any part of the service;
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, including copyright or trademark notices;
- Interfere, disable, impair, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Campus or serves or networks connected to the Campus, including by transmitting any worms, viruses, spyware, malware, or any other code of a destructive or distributive nature; and
- Inject content or code or alter or interfere with the way the way any of the pages on the Campus are displayed or rendered on the user's device.
10. Protection of Minors
10.1 Parental Consent
The Campus prioritizes the safety and privacy of minors using our platform. Users under the age of 18 ("Minors") are required to have parental or guardian consent before creating an account and participating in our services. Parents or guardians must provide verifiable consent for Minors to use the Campus. This includes agreeing to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the Minor. We reserve the right to request additional information or proof of consent at any time.
10.2 Data Privacy
The personal data of Minors is collected, used, and stored in strict accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 and related Regulations. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of Minors' personal data. Personal data of Minors will not be shared with third parties without explicit parental or guardian consent, except as required by law.
Any incidents involving the safety or privacy of Minors should be reported to Us immediately via Our contacts provided below. We will take appropriate action to investigate and respond to reported incidents, prioritizing the safety and privacy of the Minor involved
10.3 Parental Responsibilities
Minors must adhere to these Terms and Conditions. Any inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to bullying, harassment, or sharing of personal information, is strictly prohibited. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising the Minor’s use of the Campus and ensuring compliance with these Terms and Conditions. Parents or guardians should regularly review the Minor’s activities on the platform and communicate any concerns to us immediately.
By allowing a Minor to use the Campus, parents or guardians acknowledge and agree to this clause and the broader Terms and Conditions.
11. Third-Party Services
We may provide links to third-party websites or services. However, we do not assume responsibility for any third-party services, including their accuracy, completeness, legality, or quality. Use third-party services at your own risk and subject to their terms and conditions.
12. Cookies
We use cookies to enhance your experience on our website. Cookies help us identify your browser, provide analytics, and remember your preferences. Most web browsers allow you to disable cookies, but this may affect your ability to use certain features of our service. We do not store personally identifiable information in cookies.
13. Revision, Modification and Updates to Services
Okki may update, modify, or discontinue any of the Learning Materials at its discretion, with or without notice. We may provide updates to improve functionality, including patches, bug fixes, and new features. All updates are subject to these terms and conditions.
14. Limitation of Liability
Okki Solutions will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the platform. However, our total liability to you for any damages or losses shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the platform.
We offer educational and training services only. We do not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice or support. We will not be liable for any errors, omissions, or actions taken based on the information provided. Users are responsible for their actions and should seek independent advice from qualified professionals in relevant fields before making decisions or acting. Additionally, we will not be liable for the content or external links shared.
15. User Obligations
As a user, you agree to:
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Use our services only for lawful purposes.
- Not engage in any activity that could harm the service or its users.
16. Intellectual Property for Okki Solutions Limited's Online Courses, Okki Competence Campus, and all Okki Solutions Ltd. content
This clause outlines the intellectual property rights associated with all the content course materials provided by Okki Solutions Limited ("Okki").
16.1 Ownership and Intellectual Property Rights
All educational content, learning materials, software, multimedia assets, and related documentation (collectively, Learning Materials") provided by Okki for Learning instructions are the exclusive property of Okki Solutions Limited or its licensors.
This includes, but is not limited to, materials developed or used in delivering lessons, such as textbooks, workbooks, audiovisual content, interactive software, course modules, quizzes, and related documentation.
16.2 Copyright and Usage Rights
The Learning Materials are protected under the copyright laws of Kenya, Germany, and international treaties.
All rights reserved. No part of Okki Solutions Content may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted, in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise, without the express written permission of the publisher.
Okki grants students a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to access and use the Learning Materials strictly for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes.
Any redistribution, reproduction, modification, or use of the Learning Materials for commercial purposes without explicit written consent from Okki is strictly prohibited.
16.3 Attribution and Integrity of Materials
Students must acknowledge Okki Solutions Limited as the source of the Learning Materials in any permitted academic or educational use. Students agree not to alter, obscure, or remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices included on or with the Learning Materials.
16.4 Prohibition of Unauthorized Use.
Students agree to protect the intellectual property rights of Okki and refrain from any unauthorized use, sharing, reproduction, or distribution of the Learning Materials. Okki reserves the right to terminate access to the Learning Materials and to seek legal remedies for any breach of these terms.
This Intellectual Property Clause may also be revised from time to time to reflect new legal, operational, or business requirements.
17. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account for any reason, including violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use our services will cease immediately.
18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms shall be governed by the laws of Kenya and Germany. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of our services shall initially be resolved through mutual negotiation between the parties. If parties are unable to resolve the dispute through mutual negotiation, the parties shall be free to pursue any other remedies available to them under applicable law.
19. Privacy and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
20. Platform Development
Please note that our platform is currently under construction until October 2024.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge and accept that the services provided are offered on an "as-is" basis during this period, and agree to proceed with the understanding that certain features or functionalities may be incomplete or subject to change.
